Artistic approach
For me, art is a joyful practice, an active investigation fueled by curiosity and imagination.
My work is based on exploring diversity in all its forms: textures, structures, light, movement... I play with shapes and colors in a creative quest where reality flirts with imagination.
This approach stems from my background: my studies in geography, then my career as a chief editor alongside my work as a painter. Travel, curiosity, and a documentary approach feed my artistic practice and shape my view of the world.
I often work in series. Each one becomes a laboratory where I experiment freely: the fluidity of ink, watercolor, or even gouache brings an immediacy that allows for an energetic and lively imprint. I am constantly experimenting with new techniques—cyanotype, collage, stamping—which add to the traces of my gestures that can be glimpsed in the works. I seek to offer viewers joyful and playful scenes, a celebration of the pleasure of living.
Each technique reveals different aspects of the subject and multiplies the possibilities of expression. I let myself be guided by spontaneity and intuition, I refuse to follow the beaten path, I seek the unexpected, I cultivate surprise.
Each series is a new adventure where I test new relationships between colors and shapes, new ways of revealing the richness of the world around us.
